Man Roland was established over 150 years ago as an engineering firm, producing its first automatic cylinder press in 1845. The company now employs over 10,000 people and is a global supplier of a wide range of printing and finishing equipment.

Quality products deserve quality after sales service. This is why we at Reliant use rubber specifically designed by British Vita for rollers on each individual printing press. Our expertise in rubber technology ensures only the highest standards from manufacturing through to finishing and inspection. New printing rollers are available mainly from stock but we also provide a recovering and regrinding service if required.

The following list is a sample of just some of the Roland printing presses served:

Reliant Rubber has the expertise and knowledge of a range of rollers and compounds utilised for products such as dampeners. British Vita supplies all compounds, but we are able to advise on the optimum compounds bearing in mind the amount of water to be carried to the plate. These products take the principle of carrying extra water to the plate to a new level of technical performance by greatly improving the evenness and consistency of the water film. This helps prevent “dry-outs”, giving higher print quality and longer runs.
